How to Pray for Yourself and Your Family and Get Results

I’m certain that you can agree with me that we live in what Timothy referred as perilous times, which are times of great stress and trouble. (See 2 Timothy 3:1). There is certainly no absence of our need to continue to pray Psalms 91 over our families, as well as ourselves. I’m confident that if I were to personally sit and talk with you that you would testify that the enemy, Satan, has targeted either you personally or someone in your family. The news alone continually alerts us that we are living in what the Bible refers to as the end times-perilous times- where terror threatens us daily.

I’m the mother of a beautiful daughter who is now married and has a family of her own. Yet, I continue to daily pray for God’s protection to cover her family and her. Let me assure you that there is nothing that upsets me more than to witness her or her family being targeted by the enemy. I have prayed, decreed God’s
promises and prophesied into her future for close to forty years. I can testify that because God gave me the assignment, as well as others called by God, to pray for her; she has witnessed God’s saving, delivering and healing power. This is why I am writing to you today-to appeal to you to begin to pray effectively for your family, as well as for yourself. I know you are like me-you need to witness the results of your prayers. However, it will not occur without strategy and using the keys of the Kingdom (revelation from heaven- see Mt 16:19). When we use Kingdom keys, we are praying with revelation as we bind the enemy and his cohorts and command he loose his hold on our children!

Let me explain why this book will help you see the results of your prayers. In this particular read, you will discover how Satan targets each of us in an attempt to steal our destiny. I discuss the different tactics of the enemy and his functions to seduce us away from God’s plans for our lives. I specifically use the example of how even Abraham, the father of our faith, had to go to literal war for his family. Yes, his family had been taken captive by his enemies. Abraham had to gather an army to go with him to war for the purpose of recovering those that he loved.

I believe that Abraham was our example today concerning the need to use faith and gain strategy from God to defeat the enemy that attempts to steal the destiny of a loved one. In the book, I name specifically how the enemy functioned against Abraham’s family and how we, today, can use the revelation the Holy Spirit has provided concerning the names of the kings that were Abraham's enemies. We will also look specifically at the different territories, or kingdoms ruled by these wicked kings, and the meanings behind their kingdoms. The Word states in Rev 11:15 that "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever." Dear one, Abraham was battling the kingdom of darkness concerning his family- we are battling the same today. As you read, I am certain you will be empowered to pray effectively and witness protection and restoration for your family. We may not be in a literal war for our children and loved ones, but I believe I can safely conclude that we are in a spiritual battle concerning the destinies of our families.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Our destinies involve God’s plan for our lives. When He says that He has an “expected end” for us, He is explaining that He has an expectation for our lives. Yet, again, we have an enemy, Satan, who attempts to abort our expected endings! I’m sure that you, as a parent, a business leader or even a leader of a church family have had expectations concerning those you love only to witness the devastating results of Satan’s interference. There is no doubt about it- God has a plan for our families- Satan also has a plan.

The other book, Breaking the Threefold Demonic Cord: How to Discern and Defeat the Lies of Jezebel, Athaliah and Delilah,(CLICK HERE TO ORDER) is even more specific to point out how these three spirits target the generations. As you read you will gain even more strategy as to how to pray and get results. For example, I give prayers periodically throughout the book for you to pray. One specific prayer targets the need for repentance concerning the generations. Several chapters are dedicated to exposing the evil spirit of “Athaliah” as she murdered all but one of her own male descendents in order to illegally seize authority to the throne of Judah. Precious believer, allow me to make a bold, but true statement: This spirit may also be attempting to target your generations in an attempt to illegally gain authority in your families. How could that happen? It can occur due to deception. Many of us have been deceived into believing that Satan doesn’t really have authority in our lives, homes, businesses, schools, churches and/or families. Scripture states that we perish for lack of knowledge. The destinies of our loved ones are perishing because we don’t know how to gain specific strategies, pray these strategies and, thus, effectively wage spiritual war for these precious ones. It’s time for results; I know you agree!

God promises us protection, restoration and deliverance from our enemies. Let’s pray and begin to get results today!

Jesus said “...whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)( NIV). Allow your faith to rise up now-believe now for results- and if you pray and believe, you shall see the results of those prayers!

Please allow me to pray for you and your generations.

Father God, 
I pray for each reader today and I ask that You empower them with divine strategies to destroy the enemy that has targeted each of them as well as their generations. I bind up Athaliah and every demon that is strategizing against us and I take authority over every lying spirit that opposes truth. As I pray, I know that You are releasing angels on assignment to protect our loved ones. Father, You stated that You would not only protect our generations, but that You will also forgive them of their sins. I thank You, Lord, for opportunities to repent, to change our minds concerning Your love for us and Your good thoughts toward us. I repent for our wrong thinking- believing that we must perform so that You would love us. Thank You for Your loving kindness. Your mercy endures forever.
